Friday went well at Gotee records down in Franklin. We met with Joey Elwood the president he is a really nice guy. He liked our music a lot and encouraged us to look into the publishing side of the business. With the economy, and just the way the business is right now it's really hard to get a record deal. And in some cases getting a record deal isn't the best anyway. He said a new artist used to send out 20,000 albums to the stores now they only send out 3-5,000. Walmart and the other stores just don't want to carry them. With itunes and people that pirating the music it's just not the same.
After that meeting we drove into Nashville and went to the Warner Chapel building for Marv Green's Contract Renewing Party. Marv's daughter and Jordan got to play and entertain everyone by dancing to Marv's songs and running around the room. Jeff got to see all the people he had met at Warner Chapel again. And we got to meet Mathew West he has a number 8 on the Christian Charts right now. He said he'd listen to our music and we can contact him. And another writer there said he'd write with Jeff any time. So that's really good sounds like we have to go back again soon.
Right now we are driving back to Colorado Springs we may get to Kansas tonight.
